Brigid & Matt - A Classy BBQ

I just love Decatur weddings!

This one began at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.  Brigid requested an elegant and simple bridal bouquet.  She loves asiatica lilies, which aren't used very much lately in bridal bouquets, so I was completely on board to do something different.

White asiatic lilies, white agapanthus and green pittosporum combined for a classic look.  The agapanthus are like millions of little lilies in one bloom!   She also wanted a loosely gathered design, not something symmetrical.  And her dress - gorgeous!

The bridesmaids held similar bouquets, just a bit smaller.  I love the sparkle of the blue/grey dresses.

Matt looked dashing in his tux with a ranunculus and agapanthus boutonniere.

After the ceremony and photos, the newly married couple walked down the street to The Marlay, an Irish Pub, to celebrate together with a pint of  Guinness!

Then it was on to the Old Courthouse on the Square, one of Decatur's most popular wedding venues.
Grey linens combined with mercury glass vases complemented the marble courtroom reception area beautifully.  It was very classic and elegant - but with a little twist.  The reception was catered by
Fox Bros. BBQ.    It's your day - do it your way!

Two different designs were used for centerpieces - a collection of clear glass vintage style bottles and lanterns with flowers surrounding the base.

Reception flowers included lilies, agapanthus, snowy jewel roses, tulips,  ranunculus, and light blue tweedia with foliage accents of green pittosporum.

Brigid and Matt are dancing off to a good start in their new life together!
