I only have a few, but here's a sneak look at some of the reception pieces from Meredith & Drew at
The Hotel Palomar. They were married at the
Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception downtown.
There were three different sizes of centerpieces. Full and lush mass arrangements of hydrangeas in shades of blues and purples. Each table was named after a flower.
The second size was a criss-cross design of mini and standard callas rising up from the lush hydrangeas.
And the third design was a column of callas. Meredith is an architect and was very clear that she wanted clean lines in her designs.
The boutique hotel is near the Georgia Tech campus and allows pets. In the lobby is a large fish tank with brightly colored fish. And yes, I saw a beautiful brown australian shepherd sitting perfectly still and staring at that fish tank, licking his chops.
