Elle & Ben - A Church, A Garden, A Courthouse

Oh what a wedding!

Gorgeous details.

The Gals.

The service was held at The Immaculate Heart of Mary/Briarcliff.

With a little twirl...

It was off to Cator Woolford Garden for some pictures on a warm November evening.

With gowns of emerald green and a bright jewl-toned color palette, the wedding was a bold success!
Love the fur jacket.

It was a fun crew and Heather Lynn Gonzalez brought out the best!

Some pics a little more formal.

With coordination by Lauren Fici of In An Instant Events it was a flawless evening with the reception held at the Decatur Courthouse and catered by Sun in My Belly.

Sweets, cocktails, dancing and bubbles capped off the night!

Stanley Finn is a good dog.

Elle was a stunning bride (that dress!) and Ben the handsome groom.
All the best to you both!

Jessica & Jake // The Wimbish House

Jessica & Jake's wedding at The Wimbish House was a sparkly and elegant affair.  They are two of the most thoughtful and genuine souls you could every meet.  When the groom thanks you for doing a great job on the flowers, it touches your heart.

Check out this dip!  Jessica looks like a gymnast here.  Quite the dramatic kiss!

The girl's dresses were a gorgeous champagne and sequin combination.  With hydrangea, O'Hara garden roses, wax flower and eucalyptus their bouquets were subtle so the sequins could do the talking.

Catering by Sun in My Belly is an excellent vendor choice!

Elegant white centerpieces in gold footed bowls complemented the gold accents throughout the room.

How happy do the newlyweds look!!  Such a great photo by Honeyroot Photography.

And what better way to leave your Midtown wedding than on a pedicab!

I truly enjoyed working with this couple and their families.  I had done Jake's brother's wedding a few years earlier.
All the best, Jess & Jake!

Gatsby Bash at Rhodes Hall

Fernanda and Jeff
wed in Gatsby fashion at the iconic Rhodes Hall on Peachtree Street.  This venue is special to me because I was married there!  I love its style, elegance and the history it represents.

Of course, real ostrich feathers were used for this affair.  Over 600 to be exact!  Champagne colored ostrich feathers were added to the boutonnieres and featured throughout the entire wedding.

Fernanda's bridal bouquet featured anemones, white roses, majolica spray roses, stock, ranunculus and springerii.

Pearl wristlets with ranunculus and spray roses for the mothers and grandmothers were delivered on a sterling silver tray.

Gorgeous art deco inspired earrings amongst the feathers.

Bridesmaids bouquets were similar to the bride, just a bit smaller.

Flower halo for the flower girl.

Pretty blooms and prosecco to start the day!

Fernanda with the gorgeous blue hair was a stunning bride.

Her bridesmaids were so excited to be a part of her day.  ;)

Sparkly gowns for the girls hit that Gatsby-style head on.

Sparkly headpieces added the final perfect touch.

Ostrich feathers surrounded the couple for the ceremony at the base of the ornate stairway.

Small guest tables featured art deco rose gold votives as well as small lamp centerpieces reminiscent of the era.

Cocktail tables featured oil lamp vases with monstera leaves, springerii and anemones.

Table numbers were art deco perfect.

Married!  Guests even came in suits and dresses inspired by '20s fashion.

Jeff surprised Fernanda by flying in her brother who was originally unable to attend the ceremony.  She was surprised right before she walked down the aisle.  There were tears all around.

Large buffet pieces of palm, monstera and springerii graced the satin and pearl draped tables.
Catering by Talk of the Town.

This croquembouche was amazing!

I've said this before but I love when the groom holds the bouquet!

Such a gorgeous shot.

On top of Rhodes Hall and looking toward the future.  It was a joy working with these two!  Fernanda has a keen eye for detail and brought her vision to life in sparkles, blooms, feathers and glam.
Here's to the happy family and a Happy Life!
