Erin and Blake, part 2

Now, for all the hot pink....

I love this image of all the ladies fixing Erin's dress so she can have a perfect portrait on the steps of the Decatur Courthouse. She's a light of calm in a fury of blue.

Bridesmaids bouquets were hot pink roses, hot pink hydrangea, pink ranunculus, pink hypericum berries and gardenia leaves. These were also wrapped with ti leaves and hot pink pins.

Table centerpieces were all hot pink with a ti leaf wrapped around the outside of the vase.

Smaller table centerpieces were round bubble bowls with a ti leaf wrapped on the inside and hot pink flowers on top.

Here you can see all the shades of pink - hydrangeas, berries, roses, carnations, spray roses, etc.

Sweet guest book arrangement.

Two very tall cylinder vase arrangements flanked the vow site. Erin and Blake rented the cylinder vases from me and at the end of the night, they removed the top part and took that home with them. (Well, the wedding coordinator did that actually...)

Rose petals covered the palladian window ledges.

The center window ledge had a shorter version of the cylinder vases. The hot pink flowers really added a pop of color to the all white marble courtroom.
Stay tuned...lots more!

My Big Fat Greek Wedding

Ok, here's a sneak peek at Alexa's wedding in May!

She had nine attendants and the ceremony was held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation on Clairmont Road. The Cathedral is extraordinarily ornate with beautiful mosaic work.

Centerpieces were two dozen roses en masse in a glass cylinder vase wrapped with ti leaves. Colors were hot pink ("sweet unique" and "orlando"), yellow ("aurora" and "kerio") and orange "milva" roses. The reception was held at the Hellenic Community Center at the Cathedral.

The girls held posies of the hot pink, orange and yellow roses with hosta leaves as a collar as well as wrapping the stems. Their watermelon-colored dresses were gorgeous!

The bridal bouquet consisted of the yellow, orange, and pink roses with yellow cymbidium orchids, pin cushion protea and white mini calla lily accents with a collar of hosta leaves.

Thanks very much to Ezell's Studio for the great shots.

Pink and Red Bridal Bouquet

As Valentine's Day nears, I'm swallowed up in pinks and reds! Here is one of my favorite bridal bouquets that I have done in that color scheme.
Alex, the bride, was so great to work with - very down to earth. She was married at The 173 Carlyle House in Norcross in a classic ceremony with Celtic touches. The flowers in her bouquet were hot pink, red and gold roses, red alstromeria, pink statice, gold hypericum berries and wax flower. I love the little vintage purse she carried!
