Toni & Thomas // Late October garden wedding #tntforthewynn

A garden is a beautiful spot for a wedding.

And Atlanta's Cator Woolford Gardens is a terrific wedding venue.  Toni and Thomas chose the garden for their late October wedding and the weather couldn't have been more perfect.  My favorite spot at the venue is the stone stairs.  Check out this dramatic shot of Toni and her gown.

Venue rental of the Garden contributes to The Frazer Center and their non-profit work for children and adults with developmental disabilities.  So, host your wedding there and feel good that you are directly supporting a worthy cause.

Look how handsome Thomas is on the steps!

Toni's choice of a bold color combination for her flowers held its own among the vibrant green of the garden.

Burgundy dahlias, gold chrysathumums, peach stock, and deep red ranunculus blooms were accented by peach hypericum berries, ivory gomphrena and dark agonis foliage.

Her wedding invitations set the stage for these bold colors.

Thomas and his groomsmen were decked out in grey suits.  He also had two groomswomen who chose their own complementary looks.

Boutonniere of ranunculus, sweetheart rose, hypericum berries, gomphrena and agonis foliage.

Dad with his cool socks....

and Mom with a quick sip enjoyed an evening in the garden.

Toni placed a table under the natural stone arbor altar area in tribute to relatives who had passed.

"Wish you were here" table.

Guests shared best wishes for the couple on jenga tiles.

Guitar tunes in the Garden as guests arrived.

Table numbers were framed and accompanied by quotes from Toni and Thomas' favorite books or movies about love such as  "When Harry Met Sally", "The Notebook", and "Stranger in a Strange Land".

Mercury glass vases of silver and copper featured garden style floral arrangements for the wedding party and guest tables.

Those stairs again!

After dinner and dancing, donuts are always a good way to end the evening.

Guests were treated to tiny succulents as a "garden" thank you for joining in the celebration.

Many excellent vendors combined to make this Fall Garden wedding a success.
Cheers to Toni &Thomas!

Emalee & Sal // #SalGotHisGal

This is Emalee.  She's a doll and her groom, Sal, is the perfect match.  They were married at The Solarium at Historic Scottish Rite in Oakhurst and here's some great shots from a gorgeous day!

Her bouquet is seriously one of my favorites.  Fingerling eucalyptus, dahlias, lepto, sweetheart roses, ranunculus, and agonis together created a wildly romantic, loose and natural bouquet.

Sal wore an impeccably tailored suit with a pale pink tie and handkerchief.

And of course, dog socks!

Sweet flower girls and...

10 bridesmaids!  All in shades of pink to burgundy. And even a couple floral dresses as well.  A beautiful collection of colors and styles.

Sal and the Ring Man.

Sal and his buddies.  I love his blue suit/pale pink tie with their grey suits/burgundy ties.  A nice way to mix it up.

This shot of the wedding party reminds me of an Annie Liebowitz photo.  They could be on the cover of Vanity Fair.

Married under an arbor made by a friend, draped with white and adorned with fresh, wild foliage.

The sparkling send off...

with Sal definitely getting his gal.

Jen & Nathan // Sweet & Simple

I love this photo of Jen & Nathan.  Sweet, but a little sexy too, right?

Purple callas, purple stock and foliage were the simple combination for the bridal party.

Sweet flower girl...

... and simple pew decor.

Sweet, once again.

You know that thing about "less is more" - yeah.  Jen's got it.

Brigid & Matt - A Classy BBQ

I just love Decatur weddings!

This one began at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.  Brigid requested an elegant and simple bridal bouquet.  She loves asiatica lilies, which aren't used very much lately in bridal bouquets, so I was completely on board to do something different.

White asiatic lilies, white agapanthus and green pittosporum combined for a classic look.  The agapanthus are like millions of little lilies in one bloom!   She also wanted a loosely gathered design, not something symmetrical.  And her dress - gorgeous!

The bridesmaids held similar bouquets, just a bit smaller.  I love the sparkle of the blue/grey dresses.

Matt looked dashing in his tux with a ranunculus and agapanthus boutonniere.

After the ceremony and photos, the newly married couple walked down the street to The Marlay, an Irish Pub, to celebrate together with a pint of  Guinness!

Then it was on to the Old Courthouse on the Square, one of Decatur's most popular wedding venues.
Grey linens combined with mercury glass vases complemented the marble courtroom reception area beautifully.  It was very classic and elegant - but with a little twist.  The reception was catered by
Fox Bros. BBQ.    It's your day - do it your way!

Two different designs were used for centerpieces - a collection of clear glass vintage style bottles and lanterns with flowers surrounding the base.

Reception flowers included lilies, agapanthus, snowy jewel roses, tulips,  ranunculus, and light blue tweedia with foliage accents of green pittosporum.

Brigid and Matt are dancing off to a good start in their new life together!
