Dogwood Days, cont.

Told you I would be using dogwood in my arrangements this week! They look gorgeous with the light blue hydrangeas and peach french tulips.
I met with a great couple this past Saturday, Chris and Jessica, who will be getting married in July. Chris is studying at Columbia Seminary and Jessica is at UGA. I'm working on a proposal for them in colors of lilac, lavender, purple and ivory. As I do for most of my proposals, I will include several different flower combinations at different price levels so they can choose which best fits their budget.
If you are planning a wedding in June, July or August - call me soon because these dates are filling up!

Dogwood Days

Guess what bloom floral design will be using in arrangements this week?? That's right...dogwood branches. If you cut them at an angle they will last a good long time in water.
I love my giant lantern that I have on my kitchen island and this week it is filled with slender spice jars holding small dogwood branches in a bed of green moss.
The dining room plant stand has my grandmother's pitcher filled with larger, more substantial branches.
Locally grown is best. Bring the outdoors in!
