These photos are from Kristen and Joe's wedding at The Solarium in the Oakhurst area of Decatur. A bright and cheerful color palate of white, orange and green was expressed using tulips, tulips and more tulips. Accent flowers were gerbers, kermit poms and chamomile.
The groom was from England so we used vintage tea tins for some of the centerpieces along with a collection of milk glass containers. Kristen mentioned during our consultation that she collected milk glass so I suggested she use her pieces along with a few more I purchased at an antique market.
They were married on the steps of the building next toThe Solarium. I created a "ribbon curtain" to hang in the doorway to give them a colorful backdrop for their ceremony. The flower girls carried paper cones adorned with ribbon streamers. I also created a ribbon "awning" over the entryway to the Solarium.
The late afternoon was quite breezy making all the ribbon come alive!
